Queenie – 3-4 year old female Cross-Breed

Queenie is a 3-4 year old female Cross-Breed. She is a beautiful big girl who is being returned to rescue due to a change in her owner’s circumstances and through no fault of her own. Queenie shares her home with Sheba who is also looking for a home.

It would be lovely if we could find them a home together, however, we would also look to rehome Queenie with other dogs or equally, she could cope as an only dog. She gets on well with other dogs outside the home as well.

Queenie loves to play and has lots of energy, she would suit an active family who would keep her mind and body busy!

Queenie is a big cuddle bug and loves attention and belly rubs. Although she is good with children of all ages, Queenie can get excited and jump up at them.

As she is a big girl, we would suggest older or dog-savvy children only who would be able to cope with this. She is housetrained and can be left for short periods.

Queenie can be strong on a lead and reactive with this, so will need someone experienced and prepared to continue her training to support her here.

Queenie is spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. She is currently in Swinton.

Boton – 5 month old male Basset Fauve de Bretagne Cross

Boton is a 5 month old male Basset Fauve de Bretagne Cross. He is the result of another irresponsible litter. We rescued the mother with her babies when they were one month old in Northern Spain. After fighting against parvovirus only 2 babies survived and Botón is one of them. Poor Boton has had some bad luck in his short life… We thought we had found a lovely home for him, and then without so much as an explanation, the prospective adopters disappeared. So for this reason, Boton is still looking for his forever home, and we really want to make sure this time around, it’s the right one. His brother was recently adopted to the UK, and is doing very well, settling in like an absolute star and loving the company and attention of his new family.
