Ronnie & Patch – 6 year old male Jack Russell Terrier cross Chihuahua and Pomeranian

Ronnie & Patch are 6 year old male Jack Russell Terrier cross Chihuahua and Pomeranian. Ronnie is a tan Jack Russell Terrier cross Chihuahua. Patch is a white and tan Pomeranian.

This gorgeous duo came to our centre from a multi-dog household and were just left to their own devices.

Before coming to the centre they had not experienced the outside world, they had never been walked on a lead and had very limited interactions with people.

Both boys are very nervous and rely heavily on each other which is why a home together is essential. Their confidence has grown massively since being with us and has bonded with a few people at the centre, but this has been a long process and has taken months.

Ronnie is more willing to come up to you for a treat once he gets to know you, but Patch would prefer to keep his distance.

Their fear levels are still extremely high, and their new owners must have patience and experience in dealing with zero-contact, fearful dogs. They more than likely will not seek you out for attention, so you must be happy with letting them come and go as they, please.

These boys need a home with no other pets and there are to be no children living in the house or visiting.

If you would like to know more about these gorgeous boys, please contact the RSPCA Lancashire East Branch on 01254 231118, and one of our team will be happy to help.

There is an adoption fee of £175 each. They are microchipped, neutered, and fully vaccinated and they are up-to-date with flea and worming treatments. Home checks apply, multiple meets will be required, and post-adoption support is offered.
