Hooch – 4 month old male Terrier Cross

Image
Hooch is a 4 month old boy, who is a small/medium terrier mix. We met him in Boto?ani public shelter. This cheeky chap stood out of 20+ puppies in his pen, with his waggy tail and cheeky face. He loves cuddles and is a confident boy. Meet Hooch who is fostered in North Walsham Norfolk. How can you resist his scruffy face? He will need normal puppy training. He will travel to the UK soon but as he’s so amazing and has been assessed we will open his applications now. When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in p...

And helping him learn now will not only strengthen your bond, but will set you up for a lifetime of fun together.   Why Spend Time Teaching A Dog To Swim? Just like people, once an animal is in the water, they quickly tire splashing about. So, teaching your dog to swim is one of the most crucial skills he can learn. Teaching your dog to love the water while he’s young has additional benefits besides safety. Swimming can be a safe aerobic exercise for dogs with arthritis, those with joint or spinal issues, or dogs that are overweight. In these situations, water supports the body, which reduces pain while allowing them to burn calories. Swimming is also and excellent way for dogs to burn...

There are three girls (Oriana, Izzy, and Khaleesi) and one boy (Leeroy). The pups are approximately four months old and around 4-6kg currently. Their estimated adult weight is 10-15kg.
