About Nerissa’s Pups.

Leeroy, Oriana, Izzy, and Khaleesi: Nerissa was rescued from the streets by the shelter with her four puppies, whom she had been taking care of so wonderfully.

NOTE: Khaleesi is now rehomed but the others are still available.

This brave mum was so lucky to meet Alex on the street, who went to every effort possible to locate her puppies and ensure the whole family was brought to safety. This involved the help of a GPS collar to see where this sweet girl was keeping her pups.

Once the family was well-fed and had some vet treatment, they were feeling much better and have been settling into life at the shelter while they wait for their forever homes.

There are three girls (Oriana, Izzy, and Khaleesi) and one boy (Leeroy). The pups are approximately four months old and around 4-6kg currently. Their estimated adult weight is 10-15kg.

The pups are healthy, happy, and playful, exactly as they should be. We are very keen to get these lovely puppies adopted as soon as possible while they are still little. They need to be in safe, loving homes. They get along with everyone—kids, dogs, and even cats!

  • Leeroy: the only boy in the litter is such a sweet protector of the whole family. He adores chewing toys, snuggling up for cuddles, and being held close!
  • Khaleesi: the biggest of the bunch who definitely inherited her dad’s beagle traits. She’s a food lover and can’t resist a good belly rub. (now rehomed)
  • Oriana: the gentlest temperament and loves to nap after some playful roughhousing with her siblings.
  • Izzy: the tiniest with a huge personality and mesmerizing eyes that will steal your heart. She’s all about giving kisses to show her love.

Mummy Nerissa is also looking for her forever home and has a profile of her own. If you are interested in giving one of these lovely pups the happily ever after they deserve, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Adoption fee to the UK – REDUCED – £400.

£400 REDUCED ADOPTION FEES – Our dogs are at desperate risk of being put to sleep due to the future of our shelter being so uncertain. The shelter is in a terrible situation where we face being shut down due to a court case which has no regard for the safety or welfare of our animals.

Due to this, adoption fees are reduced to increase the chances of finding all our animals safe and loving homes before we are forced to shut down due to no fault of our own. We are determined to do our very best to find forever homes for every single one of our precious animals, but we need your help! Please consider adopting a dog from us!

The adoption fee includes:

  • Flight to the Netherlands & Courier Service to the UK. All transportation administration is sorted by the shelter.
  • Passport & all necessary paperwork and travel documentation.
  • Worm/flea/tick treatment while in our care.
  • Microchipping.
  • Vaccinations (3 for puppies / 2 for adults).
  • Rabies Vaccination.
  • Leishmania Snap Test.
  • 4DX plus Snap Test.
  • IFAT test for adults (over 1 year old).
  • Complete blood count (CBC) test – done every 6 months.
  • Spaying/neutering for adults (if you get a puppy, it is compulsory that you have them spayed/neutered when old enough, at your own cost).

Brucella test can be done upon request – at an additional cost.

Boton is a 5 month old male Basset Fauve de Bretagne Cross. He is the result of another irresponsible litter. We rescued the mother with her babies when they were one month old in Northern Spain. After fighting against parvovirus only 2 babies survived and Botón is one of them.
