Norte – 9 month old male Fox Terrier Cross

Say hello to the cheerful pup, Norte.

Norte is a 9 month old male Fox Terrier Cross and is small-to-medium in size weighing about 14 kilograms.

Norte hasn’t had the easiest start to life. A man once posted on social media claiming he had saved Norte from certain death and was looking for a family for him.

One of the wonderful shelters we work with immediately offered to help, but he never responded. Just a week later, Norte was found abandoned again, this time alone on the street and then taken to the pound.

When nobody came forward to collect him, the kind ladies at the shelter stepped in to help.

Despite everything, Norte is a happy, affectionate pup. He adores people, children, and even strangers, greeting everyone with his big puppy smile.

His favourite thing in the world is being cuddled and showered with affection. Norte is bright and attentive, he also loves learning new things and thrives on attention.

Because he missed out on the early socialisation, Norte is still learning how to navigate the world. He’s already made a few doggy friends at the shelter and is improving every day, but his heart truly belongs to people.

For now, he would do best as the only dog in a loving home where he can soak up all the attention he craves.
