Myrtle – 9 month old female Vizsla Cross

Meet the bright and beautiful Myrtle.

Myrtle is a 9 month old female Vizsla Cross weighing 18 kilograms and standing about 50 cm tall.

Say hello to Myrtle – a striking young lady with soulful eyes, a slender frame, and a heart full of love to give. This clever, sensitive pup has beauty and brains in equal measure and is searching for a home where she can truly shine.

Myrtle may be a little shy when meeting new people, but all it takes is a tasty treat and a bit of patience before she’s your loyal shadow. Once you’ve earned her trust, she’ll never want to be far from your side.

  • House trained – she’ll even tell you when she needs to go!
  • Great recall – she responds to hand signals and whistle
  • Quick to learn – very food motivated and eager to please
  • Good around other animals – including cats, dogs, horses and even ferrets!

Myrtle loves countryside adventures, especially chasing birds and butterflies through the fields. She’s happiest outdoors, exploring by your side. She travels well in the car (with a doggy seatbelt, of course) and always enjoys a good nosey out the window!

She’s a sensitive soul who thrives with routine, reassurance and human company. For this reason, Myrtle would be best suited to a home where someone is around most of the time, perhaps with older children or another dog to keep her company.

An active lifestyle is a must — she’s a busy little explorer who loves her walks and running free in nature.

She’s currently polishing up her lead manners and learning about the world – so ongoing training and gentle guidance will help her continue to grow in confidence.

If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent and loving companion to join your outdoor adventures — Myrtle might just be your girl.

Could you be the one to show Myrtle the world? Please get in touch to learn more or arrange a meet.

Myrtle is vaccinated and microchipped. A minimum adoption donation of £275 applies.

Adoption is subject to satisfactory application, homecheck and neutering agreement. Please note: Myrtle must never be sold, passed on, or transferred to another rescue.

Should there be a change in circumstance where rehoming is required we will rehome her directly from you and if necessary accept her return to a foster home when space permits.
