Kane – 5 year old male Black Labrador Retriever

Welcome the handsome and friendly gentleman, Kane. Kane is a 5 year old male Black Labrador Retriever with a medium build, weighing around 20–25 kilograms.

Kane has been in the shelter for over a year now. His best friend, Kahu, was finally adopted last month and now Kane is left behind. They had been together for the past year so now, more than ever, Kane needs to find his happy ever after.

Kane is a good, well-rounded boy and can already respond to basic commands. He is good with dogs of all shapes and sizes and relishes the opportunity for attention and a way to burn off energy.

He is super cuddly and will be a wonderful sofa dog, but will also require decent walks and new adventures.

Kane will need ongoing basic training and some patience to help him settle into home life. He is your typical Labrador Retriever – super friendly with everyone he meets, excitable, and food-oriented.

This lovely boy will suit most home settings – all he asks for is affection, nice walks, a roof over his head, and regular meals. And he will shower you with love.

We have no doubt that he will be the most wonderful companion.
