Meet the handsome Simba.

Simba is a 4 year old male German Shepherd Cross.

Simba has flown to a wonderful foster home in the UK, in the Aberdeen area of Scotland, and is now looking for his forever family.

This sweet boy came within moments of losing his life — he was on the list for euthanasia. But against all odds, Simba was given another chance, and now he is finally safe.

For nearly 4 long years, Simba’s world was nothing but the bars of a cage and the despair of terrible conditions. To think that such a gentle, loving soul spent the best years of his life behind cold metal walls is truly heartbreaking.

Yet, despite everything, Simba never lost his will to live, nor his quiet hope that one day someone would come for him.

Now at around 4 years old, Simba is finally free — and he’s ready to give all his love to a family of his own. He’s friendly with people and other dogs, affectionate, and so eager to feel what it means to be loved every single day.

Dogs like Simba, who have endured the unthinkable, never take kindness for granted. They treasure routine, gentleness, and warmth — and in return, they become the most loyal, grateful companions you could ever wish for.
