Logan – 2 year old male Cross-Breed

Meet Logan, a spirited two and a half year-old male cross breed dog with a sturdy build weighing around 35-40kg currently living in a shelter in Cyprus.

Logan is a large and impressive dog, who commands attention wherever he goes. Logan is a people-oriented dog who genuinely enjoys the company of humans. He has demonstrated friendly and affectionate behaviour towards people. His playful nature makes him a joy to be around.

Logan welcomes human touch and is comfortable with people interacting with him, fostering strong bonds with his human companions.

While Logan possesses an energetic disposition, he manages to control his energy without causing damage. However, there are times when he may not fully comprehend his size and strength, leading to accidental bumps or knocking things over. Logan has displayed no issues with other dogs.

Logan is food-motivated, which can be advantageous during training sessions. He doesn’t exhibit a strong interest in toys, so other forms of motivation, such as verbal praise and physical affection may be more effective during playtime. Destructive behaviour is not a major concern with Logan.

However, it’s uncertain whether he can be left alone for extended periods, considering that he has shown a great affinity for human connection. Another positive aspect of Logan’s behaviour is his lack of resource-guarding issues, at least when it comes to people. This demonstrates his cooperative nature and willingness to share. Logan’s leash manners could use some improvement, as he tends to pull.

Consistent training and the use of a well-fitted harness will help manage his exuberance and enhance his walking etiquette.

Logan is a people-oriented and energetic dog. Due to his size and strength, it may be more suitable for Logan to be the only resident dog in a home and if adopted by a family with older children ages 12 years or over. Regular exercise is essential for Logan to expend his energy and keep him physically and mentally stimulated.

Engaging him in activities like long walks, runs, or interactive play sessions will contribute to his overall well-being and so an active family/couple/single person would be the ideal adopter for him Logan thrives on human interaction, is comfortable with touch, and responds well to positive reinforcement through food rewards.

He enjoys the company of people and has a very friendly disposition. While he may be better suited as a single resident dog due to his size and strength, Logan has the potential to become a loyal and devoted companion with the right care, training, and attention. Logan can fly to the UK as soon as a forever home is offered.
