Lula – 3 year old female Cross-Breed

Lula is a 3 year old female Cross-Breed. She is currently located in Suffolk. This beautiful girl is looking for a new home to work with her on her fears and help her trust humans.

Lula is an active girl who loves being out and about in quite enjoying the world and all the new smells.

Lula would love an active family to keep her mentally stimulated with lots of mental enrichment and competition-style obedience.

Lula is very food motivated and loves all of her treats including the healthy things and meat too! but no chicken!

Lula is an affectionate girl with the people she trusts and loves lots of affection, belly rubs and ear scratches. Lula needs an adult-only home.

Lula would prefer a dog-free home. For an experienced home, we would consider a large doggy companion. Lula cannot live with cats.

Lula accepts a collar, harness and lead however can be strong on the lead so will need to work on this in her new home. She also has a very high prey drive and can be reactive towards dogs and people while on walks.

Lula can struggle with guarding behaviours, she will guard food, high-value treats, resources and her owners.

Lula doesn’t like strangers which can cause fear reactivity in the home and is currently kept in the crate when people visit. Lula is toilet-trained and crate trained.

Lula suffers from seperation anxiety and currently cannot be left alone, she will need someone who is home with her the majority of the time and willing to work on this with him.

Lula is also great through the night but can bark until she is settled.

Lula can get car sick on bend roads and prefers shorter journeys. Lula can display guarding behaviours towards food and can guard her owner.

Lula will need to be fed separately and needs an owner to work on this with her. Lula is not currently neutered, the costs of this will be covered by the rescue.

Boton – 5 month old male Basset Fauve de Bretagne Cross

Boton is a 5 month old male Basset Fauve de Bretagne Cross. He is the result of another irresponsible litter. We rescued the mother with her babies when they were one month old in Northern Spain. After fighting against parvovirus only 2 babies survived and Botón is one of them. Poor Boton has had some bad luck in his short life… We thought we had found a lovely home for him, and then without so much as an explanation, the prospective adopters disappeared. So for this reason, Boton is still looking for his forever home, and we really want to make sure this time around, it’s the right one. His brother was recently adopted to the UK, and is doing very well, settling in like an absolute star and loving the company and attention of his new family.
