Ficsur is a 1 year old male Cross-Breed. He was dropped off at a public pound where he has been living ever since. Ficsur has this beautiful soft hair that you want to keep stroking. He is very special in his looks as well as in his lovely character. Ficsur is very friendly with people and keeps looking out for an opportunity to get some cuddles. Ficsur is kind to everyone, including children, and he was a real superstar on a family day held recently where he presented himself to the public. Ficsur is also friendly and playful around dogs and approaches them with a waggy tail. He is so adaptable and interested in everything outside his kennel. Ficsur loves his occasional walks, overall he is a gorgeous jolly doggie. It is a shame he is wasting his precious time in a kennel when he could be a perfect family pet in the right home. Bruno is a 1-2 year old male Cross-Breed. He was found abandoned between two villages with two other dogs. A few days later he was the only one to save, his friends were already dead. Bruno has scared initially, but he turned out to be a lovely cuddly boy who only needs a family to start living the life he deserves. Bruno is a beautiful boy inside and out, he is quite calm, gets on well with all the other dogs in the shelter and likes a play with them. Bruno can be shy in new situations, but he is very adaptable and a quick learner which is very helpful for training. Bruno is very loveable and loving, he loves cuddles and has a kind and sweet nature. He travels nicely in the car and behaved nicely at the vet too. Bruno will need to be introduced to regular walks on and off the lead in his new home. Walter is a 2 year old male Labrador Cross. He is fostered in Norwich Norfolk. He was saved from a kill list in a public shelter in Romania and whisked away at the eleventh hour to a private shelter where he could be kept safe until a rescue space in another country could be found. Walter arrived in his UK foster home a few weeks ago. He was curious about humans but afraid to let us touch him. He is still a little hand shy but improving all the time and try’s very hard to be brave and come forward for a fuss but needs more one-to-one work in this area. Walter is now loving his walks and enjoying being out and about in the local woods. He is playful with the other dogs in his foster home and will need to live with at least one other dog (preferably playful) in his forever home. Walter has not been cat tested and is living with dog-savvy children aged twelve plus successfully. Pongo is an 8-9 month old male Cross-Breed. He is fully Vaccinated, Blood tested. Flea and worm treated. Microchipped and has an EU passport. Pongo is such a loving boy and loves attention and affection. He has the best smile and can be homed with dogs and children. Pongo doesn’t know about cats. Simba is a 3 year old male JagdTerrier Cross. He is smaller than he looks! He walks well on a lead and he is very loving. Simba is microchipped, rabies vaccinated, infectious diseases vaccinated, castrated, Mediterranean diseases tested negative, and Brucellosis tested negative. Simba is okay to live with dogs and children over 8 yrs old. He can’t live with cats. He is currently located in Croatia. The Adoption fee: £395. Alba is a 9 year old female Cross-Breed. She is good with people and children. She is ok with some male dogs. She is playful, walks well on a lead and is house-trained. Danubius is a 5 year old male Cross-Breed. He was named after the Danube River. He can see with one eye and not with the other, but it doesn’t bother him! Danubius is very curious and likes to sniff everything. Danubius is sociable with other dogs and he is loving and enjoys cuddles. Danubius is playful, alert, and loyal. More pets are traveling more! According to the 2023-2024 APPA National Pet Owners Survey, 66% of U.S. households own a pet, which equates to 86.9 million households. And a 2022 survey by Hilton showed that 55% of respondents who owned pets planned to travel with their furry friend in the next year. With pet travel becoming more common, states are responding with pet car restraint laws to keep everyone safe.   Why We Need Pet Car Restraint Laws Studies have shown that less than 20% of pet owners buckle up their furry companions when they travel. That translates into tens of millions of pets riding unrestrained in vehicles! Not only is this potentially life threatening for the pets, it’s dangerous for their families — and everyone else on the road. Consider that, in a collision at 50 miles per hour, an unrestrained 10-pound dog would impact the dash, seat, or other passenger with about 500 pounds of force. Dwey is a 6 month old male Cross-Breed. He is a wonderful, bouncy boy who will make a fantastic addition to any person or family. Dwey is fun, outgoing, and brilliant with other dogs. We would recommend children being 11+ and people that are happy to attend puppy classes and have the time and energy for this beautiful boy. Dwey hasn’t been cat tested but potentially could be if needed! Dwey is fully vaccinated, tested (including brucellosis) microchipped, flea and wormed. Dwey is not neutered due to age but will go with a contract. He is currently located in foster in BA3. Home check and adoption fee apply.

Maxwell is a 3 year old male English Pointer. He came into the pound two months ago, a mere shell of the dog he is today. Maxwell had been found roaming as a stray by a municipal worker and brought to the local shelter for rehoming. He was terrified upon arrival and completely overwhelmed by his new surroundings. It took a couple of weeks but gradually, the volunteers managed to convince him that everything was going to be okay. Now, Maxwell is doing great. Maxwell’s much braver, more confident, and has an ever-wagging tail. Maxwell has learnt how to walk nicely on the lead and loves going out for his walks now. Maxwell’s always beside himself with excitement to see the new people and loves being out in the yard or on a leisurely walk with them. Maxwell’s described as a pleasure to be around and has become a firm favourite with a lot of the volunteers. Lassie is a 2 year old female Podenco Cross. She is a very sweet dog. She is currently in foster care as she didn’t do very well in the noisy shelter. Lassie is still wary of people she doesn’t know but is loving with people as they gain her trust. Lassie loves being in our company, and the company of other dogs. Lassie needs a safe, secure garden and a lot of love.

Louie is a 6 month old male Cross-Breed. He is a typical friendly puppy who will make a fantastic addition to any person or family. Louie is very like his other siblings so, fun, bright and brilliant with other dogs but can be a bit quieter when working out his surroundings. We would recommend children being 11+ and people that are happy to attend puppy classes and have the time and energy for this beautiful boy. Louie hasn’t been cat tested but potentially could be if needed! Louie is fully vaccinated, tested (including brucellosis) microchipped, flea and wormed. Louie is not neutered due to age but will go with a neutering contract. He is a foster in BA3. Home check and adoption fee apply.
