Zac – 2 year old male Spanish cross Griffon

Image
Zac is a 2 year old male Spanish cross Griffon. “I need a new home for me and my brother Timo. We have just been rescued from the freezing pound in Galicia Northern Spain and are now safely with our rescuer Jayne at the farmhouse. I am enjoying running around outside in the freedom. I’m getting more confident now iv found my freedom. My brother Timo is a bit quieter than me. I’m a good boy- I get on fine with other dogs and I can be tested with the cats. We used to live in a horrible pound in Galicia but two lovely ladies called Carolyn and Jayne came to get me and moved me to the farmhouse to wait for you to say you want to adopt me. As we are at a house in Northern Spain now I’m getting used to going outside to the toilet. My rescuers will usually have a three-way chat set up until I can travel on the happy bus in mid-January or February. We can provide video footage and see me with other dogs. My rescue makes sure we are all neutered or spayed, vaccinated, fully blood tested,...

Roger is a 4 year old male Cross-Breed. He is our extra special boy and he has been in our Cyprus shelter for just one month having been found by a staff member abandoned close to a very busy dual carriageway. Roger walks perfectly well on his lead and mixes happily with other dogs, cats and children.

Mable – 3 year old female Harrier Hound

Image
Mable is a 3 year old female Harrier Hound. “I came to SEDR as an unclaimed stray very shy and extremely underweight. I have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and am in foster in Sittingbourne, Kent. I am still shy initially when meeting new people, especially men but once I know you, I’m the biggest snuggle monster. It appears I hadn’t lived in a house before, and found everyday things such as the TV and washing machine a little scary but being in a foster home has helped hugely and I’m not used to these things. I enjoy my walks but will startle at things such as loud vehicles and trains. In typical hound fashion, my desire to sniff outweighs any decent recall so I’m walking in a long line unless in a hired secure field. I have been completely housetrained and non-destructive. I loved to snuggle up on the sofa for cuddles and am quite good at bopping you in the face with my paws. I am learning what toys are, and have shown no resource guarding around food or any items....

Ollie – 4 year old male Cross-Breed

Image
Ollie is a 4 year old male Cross-Breed. He is a blooming lovely boy. Whoever ends up with this lad really would’ve struck gold. Ollie was adopted and THROUGH NO FAULT OF HIS OWN he is being returned to us as per our rescue backup and contract. The most adorable boy, who wants nothing more than YOU! Truly just looking for his person. Ollie is super dog friendly, however, is not a playful boy at all so wouldn’t make a playmate. Fantastic off-lead, just sticks to your heel. Ollie can be left for a short period so I would recommend him for someone retired or working from home. Ollie can be homed with children 8 plus. Preferring women to men, although NO aggression in him at all, he’s just cautious but soon comes around. Ollie is NOT cat-tested. Ollie has been microchipped, vaccinated, flea treated, wormed and castrate in Hockley Essex.

Elsie – 8 year old female Lurcher

Image
Elsie is an 8 year old female Lurcher. She could be homed separately or as pair with Proki. Elsie is a bouncy, bundle of fun (and legs!). She adores zooming in secure areas and is very playful and affectionate. She can live with another similar-sized dog though can be worried by some so wouldn’t cope with being walked in busy areas. She has been living with Proki for the past few years and enjoys his companionship. She cannot live with cats or small furries. Possibly live with older children/ teens. House trained, fine being left and used to travelling.

Quinn – 8 month old female Border Collie Cross

Image
Quinn is an 8 month old female Border Collie Cross. She currently stands 25 inches to the shoulder and weighs nearly 20kg (and still growing). She has already been passed through a few unsuitable homes before coming to us and will require a home able to meet her high-level needs for physical and mental enrichment as well as commit to full training support generally and especially around her high arousal and frustration-based behaviours. Ideally needs a home interested in dog sports like cani-x, hoopers, man-trailing or tracking, to meet her activity input needs. Advise adult-only home, possibly live with confident teens however she is currently very nippy, bites when frustrated and is very boisterous. She needs training around other dogs and would advise no cats. Not house trained, not used to travelling, probably destructive/vocal when left. Reactive to vehicles/ traffic? Will need home with own secure garden area.

Nala – 5 year old female French Bulldog

Image
Nala is a 5 year old female French Bulldog. She is an adorable girl and she came to our rescue a few weeks ago, as an emergency. The family was going through a divorce and was moving out of current property and could not take dogs. And Nala and another French Bulldog boy (LOUIS, also available for adoption) suddenly became unwanted and needed to be collected urgently, same day when they called to our rescue or they would put them in kennels, what, on our mind, is absolutely not a good place for any dogs and especially such a sensitive breed. So Nala went to our great foster family. This is what they say about her: “At first she was very confused, barking all the time, and very unsettled, which is understandable. A week on, and she is a different dog. She loves her walks and is very active, but equally loves to cuddle on the sofa, and sleep in her bed. She’s very good with children and other adults, both male and female. She currently lives with young kids, 2 other dogs, and cat...
