Syrena – 1 year old female Lurcher

Syrena is a 1 year old female Lurcher. She was bought at a traveler’s fair and subsequently relinquished to rescue so she could find a forever home where her future would be secure. She is a Lurcher, we believe Bedlington cross Whippet weighs 19kg.

Syrena is mad as a box of frogs, she hasn’t had a great deal of input, and being here is probably her first experience of living in a home, but she is happy and playful and will make a fab dog for someone that is prepared to train her, she is pretty much a blank canvas.

Syrena does however walk well on a lead, has pretty reliable recall (in a secure field), and seems to love everyone and everything, she especially loves running with other pointy dogs! Syrena is a lazy little lady indoors, and a whirlwind outdoors! Syrena is house-trained and has not been destructive since being here.

Syrena is fine to be left for short periods, however, this will need building up, she doesn’t seem to be overly confident on her own so would probably be best with another dog for company or a family that doesn’t have to leave her regularly while she settles in.

Syrena is fantastic with other dogs; she would love to live with a very laid-back similar dog to her. Syrena walks lovely on a lead and has good recall off lead however we have only tried this in a secure field. She really is a stunning gentle girl with no malice in her at all.

She loves a cuddle and she loves playtime, either with toys, or other dogs. Syrena is a gorgeous happy, young lady that so desperately needs a forever home and family to share her days with. She can live with children age 8 plus, she is also good with confident cats however if she is feeling mischievous, she will chase in play!
