Prairie Dog

Sunny is a 2 year old male Husky. He is absolute stunner who went into rescue after being found stuffed in a small cage and left. He loves people and he is very good on the lead. He is ok with people and with other dogs. Sunny has been in rescue since last year, we think it’s about time he found a loving home, don’t you? An experienced husky home would be perfect for Sunny. He is neutered, vaccinated, micro- chipped ready for his home. He will be adopted under the package of Rights for Animals rescue Cyprus with full RBU.

Minnie is a 10 month old female Terrier Cross. She is fully vaccinated, microchipped and has a current passport. Minnie is nervous when out on a walk with barking at other dogs, this is getting better with time but would need the training to be kept up. She is also has guarding issues with toys ect to other dogs but fine with adults so a home where she is the only dog with lots of time and attention for her would be perfect. Macey is a 2 year old female Labrador Cross. She is urgently looking for an experienced, calm household with devoted adults ( no children at this point) who are able to share responsibilities around her and provide her with a safe environment and reassurance. She is great on the lead, gets on well with dogs outside and is absolutely 100% in love with her humans. She therefore started to guard them, and this lead to snaps when others come around her human. This is not an uncommon dog behaviour and can certainly be trained out once the dog is provided with safe environment, time and training. She is a bit timid with unknown people. She is house in a rural / semi rural area with 6ft fence is required for her. She can live with another large calm dog that can show her the ropes.

Bella is a 2 year old female Cross-Breed. She is rescue girl from North Macedonia. She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, large in size (23kg) and a very active dog. She’s just learning to adjust to a family life, already very good on lead and toilet trained. Bella is an active dog, who needs a family experienced in large breed and is at home most of the time. She struggled when left alone and is not used to being left alone (will need to be trained into it). She can be homed with children aged 10yo or older and another large young playful dog. The home would need to be in a rural or semi-rural area, with large garden and 6-foot fence.

Gracie is a 1-2 year old female Cross-Breed. She is looking for a new home due to no fault of her own. She id fine with cats and other dogs, Has not been around young children so only older Children please. She is good on the lead, recall will need work and she is good in the house and around food.

Pompon is a 4 year old male Cross-Breed. He was found as a stray and brought to a pound in Northenr Spain. At the pound, he proved to be lovely with people and shared his kennel with a female dog. His happy, friendly disposition was incredible, even with all the stresses and fear dogs experience in a pound environment. Thanks to a sponsor Pompon recently has moved to the boarding kennel, where he has more space to run and play. He seems very happy not to be in the pound, and is affectionate and cuddly side has come out even more. Pompon adores people and affection. He just can’t get enough cuddles and time with people. His quickly wagging tail is adorable and looks like a helicopter that is ready to take off 🙂 It’s lovely to see he hasn’t lost his trust after everything he has been through. Amelia is a 9 week old male Patterdale Terrier cross Spaniel. She is a happy. playful, well socialized puppy, being in foster with other dogs and children. Amelia can also live with cats with correct introduction. Amelia needs a home where someone is around most of the time to continue her training. She is chipped and has had her first vaccination, She will need to be spayed when old enough and we will need proof this has been done. Can you offer this adorable girl her forever home?

Jethro is a 9 week old male Patterdale Terrier cross Spaniel. He is a happy. playful, well socialized puppy, being in foster with other dogs and children. Jethro can also live with cats with correct introduction. Jethro needs a home where someone is around most of the time to continue his training. He is chipped and has had his first vaccination, He will need to be castrated when old enough. Can you offer this gorgeous boy his forever home?

Ant is a 6 year old male Spanish Mastin. He and his siblings were abandoned at the gates of our rescue at approx three weeks old. We were lucky enough to find a lovely foster who is caring for them Ant cannot travel abroad until he is at least sixteen weeks old. Ant is a male and he is in a house which has other dogs, a cat, ducks and chickens so is well socialised, being a mastin he will grow into a very big dog so it would be preferable for his new family to have some bigger dog experience, and any children to be at least 8 years old due to his eventual size. Mastins were used to tend to sheep in the fields and are slightly territorial.

Sven and Elsa are 2 year old male and female Bichon Frise cross Terriers. They are delight to behold. They have come a long way from being asked to take them by a back street breeder in London where they lived in the garden. They are both loving and sweet and amazing little characters and anyone getting this pair will be very lucky. They are in foster with a dog so can live with other dogs. They are no with cats or small children though as not tested at all. They are fostered in Herts.

Bentley is a 3 year old male Pug. He came into rescue being relinquished from his owner due to struggling with the financial upkeep of dog ownership. Bentley has been nothing but a pleasure since arriving. Super dog friendly and really enjoys his daily walks and is even good off lead! Bentley has been brought up around children so can be homed with children over 5 years old. In assessments he even passed his cat test! Bentley is currently in a foster home in Hadleigh Essex, his foster has said he is an affectionate boy who loves his cuddles, great at letting you know when someone’s at the door but can initially get a bit anxious when guests arrive but soon settles. Bentley came into rescue with a bout of colitis which cleared up quickly with antibiotics, some probiotics and change of diet and we’ve not had any health issues since. Cody is a 4 year old male Akita cross Pointer. He is a rescue from Cyprus who is now in the UK and looking for his forever home. He is currently living in the Barry area, Wales and here is a little about him. Cody is one incredible boy. His handsome looks, stature and good behaviour attract many compliments when he is walking by your side. He has had a DNA test done and it showed he was 50% Akita with 12.5% Pointer and many other breeds as well. He is a large boy and currently around 35kg. Cody is good with people, but wary of strangers so will not go bounding up to someone he does not know. Once he gets to know his humans he is super affectionate. He loves playing with his toys and lazing around in the garden. He has met other dogs in his extended foster family and after calm introductions is happy to play with them and be in their company. William is a 1-2 year old male Cross-Breed. He is traveled in uk as he was adopted there. After some days the adopter asked us to take him back as he is not accepted by the dog of the family. So poor William is currently at a foster home waitting for his lovely permanent family. He was found as a stray with another 2 dogs and untill his travel he stayed with a family with another 2 dogs. They were 5 dogs and 2 children at the family and william was the best boy. He will be adopted under the package of Rights for Animals rescue Cyprus with full RBU. He is full vaccinated, micro-chipped, blood tested and spayed.

Henry is an 8 month old male Cross-Breed. He is in our care since his stray mum gave birth to him and his siblings, but his father is unknown to us. Henry is the leader of his siblings and he likes to be in charge. He is also the only one of the puppies who we heard barking at a gosse while we did the photo shooting with him. Nevertheless he isn’t as confident as he is around his group in new situations or with new people, but this unsecurity dispears as soon as he gains trust and gets to know you. Then he becomes as naughty as any other puppy too 🙂 We know he will love the cuddles, fun and warmth of a home, he just needs someone to pick him as their new companion. Berti is an 8 month old male Cross-Breed. He is in our care since he came to this world. His mum was a medium sized cross breed and his father is unknown to us, but he has the features of a Retriever with long hair. Berti has the typical character of a puppy but is quite calm for his age. He is just adorable. Berti and his other siblings are currently in a boarding kennel in Spain where they are taking very well care of them, but what Berti really needs more than anything is a family. We don’t know how he is with cats and other small furries and we also can’t test him with them, but he is affectionate, playful and great with other dogs. As already mentioned the father is unknown to us. From his current size, we estimate that he will be about 25 to 30kg, but it also shouldn’t become a problem for you if he grows more than expected. Szundi is a 6 month old male Cross-Breed. He was found abandoned roaming the streets in rural Hungary. He currently lives in a foster home with several other dogs and cats. Szundi is a kind and friendly puppy who is happy around people and loves cuddles. He is lively and playful around other dogs and happy around cats too. His house training will need to be continued and he will need to be trained to walk on and off the lead in his new home. Szundi would be best suited for a family without or with children over 10 where he is not left alone for long periods of time. His new family will need to continue his socialization and training. He will need to be given time to settle in his new home and be introduced to his environment gradually. Amanda is a 2-3 year old female Cross-Breed. She was saved from a kill station and now lives in a shelter, ready to travel to her new home. Hopefully she does not have to wait long for a loving family that she so deserves! She is a happy joyful doggie who adapted really well to shelter life. She has a sweet personality, she is always happy around people and loves cuddles and attention. She is friendly with dogs too, sociable and playful around them. She will need to be introduced to walks on and off the lead in her new home as she is currently not taken on daily walks.
