Bodhi – 3 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Bodhi – 3 year old female Cross-Breed is a small-medium sized dog available for foster or foster with a view to adopt. Bodhi is very smart and is very good at learning new tricks and commands. She is a real foodie and never stops getting excited about treats, which makes her very trainable. Bodhi accepts a harness and lead and should always wear a harness as she can slip out of a collar when she gets spooked. She is best kept double-leaded until she is familiar with her new environment. Bodhi is good on the lead, can walk to heel or ahead, whatever she is told. She never pulls and knows to stop, wait, and leave it. She also has good recall. She loves being active and being in open spaces where she can do her zoomies. Her owners also started doing basic agility training with her, having her jump over hurdles or benches, and she absolutely adores it. Bodhi can find visitors coming to the house scary and barks when someone knocks on the door. She can be quickly persuaded to calm down ...

Topaz – 2 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Topaz is a medium sized crossbreed aged around two years old. Topaz is fostered in Norwich Norfolk. Topaz has come into our care recently from the Botosani public shelter in Romania. She was in with two other dogs and one of them would not let either of the other two come out of the wooden huts without he nipping them. We took both of the victimised dogs and both are doing brilliantly well in their UK foster homes. Topaz was initially quite shy but once she realised she no longer has to watch her back and can move around freely without fear of attack she quickly relaxed and settled in. She picked up lead training very quickly but will need to build up her fitness after being so restricted in the shelter for weeks. She mixes well with other dogs but could also live as the only dog in the home. She is a quiet and placid dog who still has some opening up to do. This is just the start of her journey and in the coming weeks and months she will positively bloom. Topaz would like a quiet...

Vichy – 3 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Vichy is a 3 year old female Cross-Breed, weighing 22 kg and standing 52 cm tall at the shoulder. She was rescued from the streets in April 2024, where she was regularly chased and abused by children and locals. At the time, she was very scared of people and had to be captured to ensure her safety. She was also heavily pregnant with pups. Vichy is a completely different dog now—she has learned to trust people again and wants nothing more than to please you. Her tail never stops wagging, and she loves cuddles, showing her affectionate and loving nature. She even has a unique, wide smile where she shows her teeth when she’s happy, which is incredibly cute. She cooperates well with humans and is truly the sweetest girl who deserves the best home. She is an active girl who loves to play and retrieves her ball beautifully. Very intelligent and a quick learner, Vichy enjoys food and is easily motivated by treats. She gets along well with her doggy friends at the shelter and loves playin...

Malna – 1 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Malna is a 1.5 year old crossbreed girl, she was dumped on the roadside along with her sister at about 2.5 months of age. She is medium size, weight: 15 kg, shoulder height: 44 cm. Malna is a lovely girl, she is friendly and kind and loves everyone. She is energetic and playful and sociable around her doggie mates. She enjoys nothing more than running around in the fields with other dogs, playing a chase. She cooperates nicely with humans too and is very kind with humans. She enjoys car rides and is good around children too. She also walks nicely on the lead. Malna would be best suited for a family where she is not left alone for extended periods and she is included in her family’s activities. She would be happiest in an active family, she would happily be your company on long walks, hikes and holidays. Older dog savvy children will be considered. Malna would probably be happiest living with another playful dog but she could also live happily as the only dog and the centre of att...

Jessie – 2 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Jessie is a 2 year old female Cross-Breed. She came into the rescue from the street in a very poor state, she was skin and bone and hardly pulled through. She was nurtured back to health though, but sadly nobody really wanted to adopt her so far and she’s been living in the shelter since December 2022, totally undeserved. Jessie is a placid little dog, she is quite chilled and lives peacefully with all dogs in the shelter. Her best friend is Daisy, they hardly leave each other’s side and keep licking and kissing. She has a kind nature, is friendly with people and loves children too. She is adaptable, loves her food a lot and can be motivated nicely with treats. She also cooperates nicely with humans and comes back nicely when called. She could flourish and show a lot more of her true loving personality in a home where she gets the attention she so deserves. Jessie would be best suited for a home where she is not left alone for long periods and there is time for her training. She wi...

Blue – 3 year old female Husky Cross

Image
Blue is a 3 year old female Husky Cross. She was originally rescued from Cyprus and arrived in the UK in October 2020. Since then she has been given so much love and been well cared for, but sadly her family feel that they’re just unable to give her the lifestyle and environment that she truly needs to thrive. Blue is thought to be a combination of Labrador, Shepherd and Husky and is a genuinely beautiful dog. Ultimately, Blue needs a rural home outside of the city. Right now she is living in London and we feel this is where the vast majority of her behavioural concerns have stemmed from because the environment is simply too much for her to cope with. First and foremost let’s start with the positives. Blue is a wonderful companion and a very devoted dog with those she knows and trusts. Blue has so much personality and is a highly intelligent dog who picks up new tricks and games very quickly. Blue thrives on mental enrichment and appreciates her ‘rest days’, playing more indoor b...

Rory – 1 year old male Golden Retriever cross Spaniel

Image
Rory is a one-year-old male Golden Retriever/Spaniel cross. About Rory Rory was found as a stray and dumped in a local kennels in Cyprus before he found his way to us. An adorable, energetic and excitable boy in good health, we felt certain that Rory must have come from a home but sadly no one came to claim him and so he began the journey to find a new family. If he did have a home in Cyprus before he came to us they did minimal training and socialisation with him, but he truly has a heart of gold, he just needs someone with the patience and experience to work with him. Unfortunately for Rory, since he arrived in the UK he has had nothing but a string of back luck. This will be Rory’s third time seeking a new home: his first home’s resident dog wouldn’t accept him, and his second home surrendered him back into our care due to lack of experience. Rory just needed more than they were in a position to offer him. Rory is only a year old, so right in the midst of his adolescence. He is...

Eric – 2 year old male Corgi Cross

Image
Eric – 2 year old male Corgi Cross is currently in foster in Essex. Eric is doing great in his foster home, but now he’s ready to find his forever family! He would thrive in a child-free, cat-free home with at least one other friendly, playful dog to keep him company. Always up for fun, Eric is super gentle and submissive. His new humans should be kind and patient to help him continue working through his fears, but also playful—he loves bouncing and running around with his foster family, which is a perfect way to bond with him. He adores toys and treats but never gets protective or aggressive over them. Eric is fantastic in his crate, sleeping quietly through the night. A nice variety of chew toys and lots of family interaction will keep him a very happy pup. His Story Eric and his brother were rescued from a kill shelter, but while his brother was quickly adopted to a loving home in Belgium, Eric has been left behind, spending over a year in a bleak shelter. Each day, he sat in a...
