Benson – 6 month old male Pointer Cross

Image
Benson is a 6-month-old male Pointer Cross. He is a wonderful puppy who should be experiencing the joys of a loving home rather than spending months confined in a shelter. Sadly, he has spent the past three to four months behind bars, waiting for a family to give him the life he deserves. Benson is the last of nine siblings who were heartlessly abandoned along with their mother in the middle of nowhere. Despite his difficult start, he remains a sweet and playful pup who thrives on human companionship and attention. He currently weighs between 7-8 kg and is expected to grow into a small to medium-sized dog, reaching around 10-13 kg when fully grown. He is well-socialised and gets along well with other dogs, meaning he can be rehomed either as an only dog or with a resident canine companion. Benson is also good with cats, making him suitable for a multi-pet household. Additionally, he can live with children, making him a great family pet. Benson is currently learning to walk on the l...

Pecas – 3 year old female Pointer Cross

Image
Pecas is a 3 year old female Pointer Cross. Pecas’ story Pecas was born in a shelter in Spain and has known little else, but she’s ready to take the next step with the right family. She would benefit from a home that has rescue experience or a family willing to help build her confidence in a world that still feels scary to her. She is extremely affectionate with humans and would make a lovely walking companion. She doesn’t especially need an active home—what she really needs is love, kindness, and steady support to help her blossom into the confident dog she’s meant to be. Adoption Process: Complete an application form. Choose your dog and pay a deposit (returnable if the rehoming does not go ahead). Schedule a video call to verify that you have a secure garden and understand good dog welfare practices. Once the home check is complete, the remaining balance of the fee is paid. This Fee Includes: Transport to the UK Vaccinations, blood tests, worming, flea, and tick treatm...

Dotty – 1 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Dotty is an 8kg 1 year old female Cross-Breed, a small little girl currently living in one of our partner shelters—now safe after being rescued from the local pound. She is full of life and adores human attention. Dotty is a wee girl who won’t take up much space. She can live with other dogs or as an only dog. She can be cat tested if needed. She can live with children over 8 years. Dotty must have a safe garden space for a house, but this little girl would also be suitable for apartment living. All of our dogs originate from Spain, where I have been working with partner shelters since 2016. We’re dedicated to finding loving homes for these wonderful animals. Our Adoption Process: Complete an application form. Choose your dog and pay a deposit (please note, the deposit is returnable if the rehoming does not go ahead). Schedule a video call to verify that you have a secure garden and understand good dog welfare practices. Once the home check is complete, the remaining balance o...

Zeus – 1 year old male Greek Harehound

Image
Zeus arrived in the UK in January 2025 to his forever home, however, sadly, through no fault of his own this has not worked out for him. We need to find Zeus a new home as a matter of urgency as he has had little experience of going out since arriving in the UK. He has had minimum lead training but is house trained. Poor Zeus has not had the best of luck in his short life – abandoned to fend for himself in Cyprus he was so frightened when he found himself in the shelter having experienced very little kindness and certainly no love. Once safe in the shelter, with a good meal or two inside him, he relaxed more and began to realise that not all humans were unkind and he really came out of his shell. He really wanted to love and he showed that he could love in a big way ! Zeus adores people and he is a fun loving, playful dog, we saw a cheeky, goofy young boy who had so much loving to do. Zeus was homed in the UK but sadly the family cannot meet his needs. He’s a very bright boy wh...

Jessie – 2 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Jessie is a 2 year old female Cross-Breed. She came into the rescue from the street in a very poor state, she was skin and bone and hardly pulled through. She was nurtured back to health though, but sadly nobody really wanted to adopt her so far and she’s been living in the shelter since December 2022, totally undeserved. Jessie is a placid little dog, she is quite chilled and lives peacefully with all dogs in the shelter. Her best friend is Daisy, they hardly leave each other’s side and keep licking and kissing. She has a kind nature, is friendly with people and loves children too. She is adaptable, loves her food a lot and can be motivated nicely with treats. She also cooperates nicely with humans and comes back nicely when called. She could flourish and show a lot more of her true loving personality in a home where she gets the attention she so deserves. Jessie would be best suited for a home where she is not left alone for long periods and there is time for her training. She wi...

Humphrey – 14 year old male Spanish Water Dog cross Spaniel

Image
Humphrey is a 14 year old male Spanish Water Dog cross Spaniel. He ended up at the municipal pound in the most terrible state. Humphrey had such terrible skin, that he didn’t have any hair apart from a few rough patches. Fast forward a few months to our foster home in the UK and Humphrey was so uncomfortable and constantly scratching that he had to be put onto treatment straight away. Humphrey is now on Apoquel and getting better. We think he has an overall approximate 90% growth of hair since we rescued him, although can lose some of it during the winter months. Humphrey has stopped scratching and is much more comfortable now. He will need to continue with Apoquel, or change to another similar medication, so please keep this in mind if applying to adopt, as cost must be taken into consideration. Humphrey is due to see the vet again soon to undergo further tests to try to get to the root of his skin issues. He may need regular medicated baths going forward. Humphrey has separatio...

Hector – 3 year old male Labrador Retriever Cross

Image
Hector is a 3 year old male labrador cross, a wonderful, spirited and playful young boy who’s spent far too long in a shelter in Cyprus. He can be a little shy with new people and situations but he adores human contact and affection, sadly both are in short demand in a shelter. He always wants as many kisses and cuddles as staff can give him! Hector sadly has had little direction or structure whilst living in the shelter, but he is exceptionally bright and very keen to learn. He will need some input around leash training, boundaries and a homelife structure but we are very confident, that under the care of adopters who have some experience with larger breeds or enjoy the challenges of developing a dogs learning and training skills, he would become the phenomenal dog he should be. Hector’s dream home would be in an environment and with a family who understood that he is a playful, sometimes boisterous young boy who just wants to learn, have fun and lots and lots of love. Due to Hec...

Szakall – 5 month old male Yorkshire Terrier Cross

Image
Szakall is a 5 month old male Yorkie Cross, a tiny little pup weighing only about 3-4 kg. He was found dumped in a plastic bag with his siblings at just a few days old and had to be bottle-fed for weeks. He turned out to be a happy, friendly little boy who loves life and is very playful. He loves his toys and his food and has a very cheerful temperament. Szakall loves spending time with people and also enjoys time spent with his puppy mates. He is looking for a home where he is not left alone for extended periods and there is time for his training. He will need to be given time to settle in his new home and get used to his new environment. He could live with another smaller doggie and can also live with cats. Older dog-savvy children will be considered. Szakall is currently in Hungary and can travel to the UK as soon as the right family is found for him. He comes fully vaccinated, microchipped, treated for parasites, and with an EU passport. The right owner will need to agree t...

Pumpkin – 8 month old female Cross-Breed

Image
Pumpkin is an 8 month old female Cross-Breed currently in foster in Bedfordshire. She is a small pup, weighing 14.5 kg, and appears to be a mix of a Shepherd and a Corgi. She has gorgeous silky, thick fur that doesn’t shed as much as expected. Pumpkin is a super pup who has stolen her foster family’s hearts. She gets on fabulously with both resident and visiting dogs and is friendly with all dogs she has met in the dog park, which is one of her favourite places. She enjoys being let off-lead, loves chasing and retrieving balls, and would benefit from agility training and fun training games. She is great at travelling, loves walking in her harness, sleeps well at night, and is reliably toilet trained. Curious, friendly, and eager to please, Pumpkin enjoys playing with toys and games. She would thrive in a family that offers her an active and rewarding lifestyle filled with fun and engagement. Important Notes: Pumpkin is not a fan of cats and will need a home without them. She...

Harley – 11 month old female Litsi Hound cross Pointer

Image
Harley – 11 month old female Litsi Hound/Pointer Cross Harley is in a foster home in the UK and is looking for her forever home with an experienced family. She is an absolute sweetheart who really wants to please but is not quite sure how to do it. Harley has never been in a forever home, having been abandoned as a puppy, and therefore has not read the manual! She has, however, come on in leaps and bounds since coming to the UK and is house-trained and learning house rules. She loves cuddles and snuggles on the sofa and is very cat-friendly. Harley is a typical hunting dog who loves to run and chase a ball. She is extremely bright and loves learning new tricks. She is very inquisitive. Harley loves the company of other dogs and plays really well with them all. Harley is reactive on a lead and is very strong. She becomes frustrated that she cannot freely interact with other dogs and will bark, but this is non-aggressive and can easily be rectified with some consistent positive rein...

Mary – 2 year old female Ariegeois

Image
Mary is a 2.5 year old female Ariegeois. Mary is currently in a foster home in Cyprus, growing in confidence and weight. She is learning that she will get food every day and eats at a better pace now that she realises she won’t be starved again. Ariegeois are playful and full of fun. Mary would benefit from an active lifestyle, with lots of lovely walks and goofy playtimes to make up for the lost time when she could hardly even move in her cramped cage. Are you the outdoor type? Do you like long walks in the woods or along the beach? Mary would make a wonderful companion for your rambles! She is sweet-natured and very friendly with everyone, even strangers. Mary is good with dogs of all sizes and also good with cats. She is a calm dog, happy to be carried when needed, and very good at the vet. Not confrontational at all, if a dog shows that it doesn’t like Mary, she simply walks away from any trouble! Mary is a bit afraid of noises she doesn’t know, like cars and other loud sounds...

Flash – 6 month old male Cross-Breed

Image
Flash is a 6 month old male Cross-Breed puppy, expected to stay a smaller medium size when fully grown. He did not have the best start in life, as he was found on a heap of rubbish gnawing on cables and plastic waste. He was very skinny and emaciated, in poor condition when taken on by the local shelter. He has now become a cheeky little fella who is ready to start a new life as a treasured family member. Flash is a real sweetheart with a kind and loving nature and the sweetest little face! He can be slightly shy initially, but it doesn’t take him long to open up and become a tail wagger. He is a happy boy who loves to play with his doggie mates. He loves his food and can be nicely motivated with treats. He is sociable and playful around dogs and is good around children too. He used to live with cats and can be safely rehomed with felines. He loves his walks and is currently learning to walk nicely on the lead. Flash would be best suited for a home where he is not left alone for lo...

Harry – 3 month old male Cross-Breed

Image
Harry is a 5 month old male Cross-Breed, anticipated to be large in size. Chunky Harry has made it safely into foster, where he is settling in seamlessly and reunited with his brother Zeus—there’s been lots of playtime between them! Harry is a typical bouncy and young puppy who finds everything fun and exciting. Adorable Harry is great with absolutely everyone, young or old—a sweet-natured boy who wants to find a family he can experience the world with. Harry is good with dogs and happily shares with his canine pals. He can be placed with or without a resident doggy pal. As he is only young, Harry will require further basic puppy training. Due to his age, Harry hasn’t yet been neutered, so his adopter must be willing to do this. Harry is fully vaccinated and microchipped. Fantastic Harry is in foster in Stockton-on-Tees.

Wookie – 6-7 month old female Cross-Breed

Image
Wookie is a 6-month-old female Cross-Breed. She was rescued alongside her sister, Leia, after being found abandoned in a forest. They were incredibly tiny and had only recently been left behind, making them extremely vulnerable to predators and passing traffic. Thankfully, they were saved in time and have been given a chance at a better life. Currently weighing around 5kg, Wookie is very small but is expected to grow a little more as she matures. She has adorable short legs and a lively personality. She is very friendly and gets along well with other dogs. If needed, she can be tested to see how she reacts to cats. As a typical young pup, Wookie is full of energy and loves to play, zoom around, and enjoy life to the fullest. She particularly enjoys snuggling with her sister in the evenings after a day of fun. Given her age, she will require a patient home willing to guide her through toilet training and lead training. A home with a garden would be ideal for Wookie, as it would provi...

Prue – 4 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Loveliest little lady – Prue. Prue is a small sized four year old. Adorable Prue sadly hasn’t had a great life so far and is shows but she remains a sweet girly who’s so desperate to be best of friends with people – there seems to be a barrier that she’s struggling to cross in terms of touch but she will happily let you fuss her but this is against her will, no aggression in the slightest just scared. It’s clear Prue will bond deeply to those who show her love and trust and will be a great companion dog!! Prue is a delicate and fragile soul who’s slowly coming around and gaining confidence inside the home but at the moment she’s scared of the lead and will require more training before she’s ready to leave the front door so a garden will be required for this sweet girl to potter around outside. When she sees her fosters, she taps her feet out of happiness and a tail that goes 100mph – it’s the cutest thing to see. Prue is obsessed with food so having treats on you automatically mak...

Image

He gets along well with both male and female dogs, is friendly with people, and is even good with cats. Blanco is housetrained, walks well on a lead, and has good recall in the garden. At 50 cm tall and weighing 24 kg, Blanco enjoys attention, walks, and a peaceful home. While he is not a fan of car trips, he has tested negative for five Mediterranean diseases and Brucellosis. He requires a home with a well-fenced garden.

Peppy – 6 year old female Bichon Frise

Image
Peppy is a 6-year-old female Bichon Frise who is still searching for her forever home. This sweet girl came into rescue in need of extensive dental care, which resulted in the removal of all her teeth. After undergoing a procedure that cost over £500, Peppy is now pain-free and living life to the fullest. Her transformation has been remarkable, and she is now a much happier and more comfortable dog. Peppy thrives in the company of other dogs and would be best suited to a home where she has a canine companion. She finds great joy in the presence of other dogs, and having a furry friend will help her feel secure and content. She has not been tested with cats, so her reaction to them is unknown. Despite her dental issues, Peppy remains a happy and loving dog. Due to her lack of teeth, she will need to remain on a soft food diet for the rest of her life. This dietary requirement is easy to manage and ensures that she remains comfortable while eating. Peppy is described as absolutely pe...
