Poppy – 7 year old female Cross-Breed

Poppy is a 7-year-old female Cross-Breed. She was abandoned in the woods of Romania alongside another mother and eleven puppies.

Sadly, only six of the puppies survived and have since been adopted, but Poppy has remained in the shelter for two and a half years, patiently waiting for her forever home.

She is a shy but loving girl whose entire demeanour brightens when she receives human attention.

With gentle care, she blossoms into an affectionate and grateful companion. She gets along well with other dogs and cats, making her a great addition to a multi-pet household.

Poppy walks well on the lead, though she will need time to adjust and may benefit from some further training. At around 35 kg and 50 cm tall, she is a medium-sized dog with a gentle presence.

She has been spayed and is fully vaccinated, ensuring she is ready for a fresh start in a loving home.

After waiting so long, Poppy deserves a family that will cherish her. She is looking for a patient and understanding owner who will help her settle into home life.

Boton is a 5 month old male Basset Fauve de Bretagne Cross. He is the result of another irresponsible litter. We rescued the mother with her babies when they were one month old in Northern Spain. After fighting against parvovirus only 2 babies survived and Botón is one of them. Poor Boton has had some bad luck in his short life… We thought we had found a lovely home for him, and then without so much as an explanation, the prospective adopters disappeared.
