Hope – 2 year old female Labrador Retriever Cross

Hope is a 2.5 year old labrador/retriever cross who was recently rescued from a complicated family situation in Spain, where she was sadly mistreated.

She has been happy and trusting since coming into our care and is a brilliant, clever and inquisitive dog who is looking for an active forever home.

Hope is a typically young dog who loves toys and chews and is especially fond of doggy peanut butter!

She can be a little exuberant in meeting new dogs and people but is learning boundaries at her foster home. She walks well on lead and gets on well with all the dogs she meets, as well as children. She can mouth a little when trying to engage in human play but is improving – however, only children over 8 would be suitable for Hope.
She is very bright and would be great at agility or similar – she really needs to use her brain and likes to be busy. Her foster says that she is a very sweet dog who is keen to please, but please remember that she has had a few changes in her short life and would need a home that would be patient and understanding.
Do you have the love and patience that Hope needs?
All of our dogs have an international passport (unless born in the UK) and are microchipped. They are fully vaccinated for standard diseases as well as rabies and kennel cough. All dogs are blood tested for infectious diseases including Leishmaniasis, Dirofilaria, Ehrlichia, Babesia, Anaplasma, Lyme and Brucella canis.

All dogs, unless there are medical or behavioural reasons to not do so, will be sterilised. Hope is sterilised. Please note that we will advise medical results and treatments upon successful application.

Adoption contract and fee, homecheck, adoption checks and lifetime RBU (rescue back-up) apply as standard.
