BORIS is a kind and loving 1 year old GSD cross boy. Upper-Medium size, 57 cm/22-24 kilos. Smart and highly trainable, VERY LOYAL and human-oriented, sociable, friendly and trustful, good with dogs and tolerates cats.

BORIS is immediately friendly with kids and women, but a little wary of men, so would need some short time to ensure the man is safe and build trust (we will be happy to provide some trust-building tips). Neutered. Lead trained. Great in a car.

BORIS was found as a small puppy in early spring, when there was still snow and frosts just aside the motorway, being thrown there to death by someone, probably an unwanted litter of someone’s resident dog. There were a few puppy siblings, frozen and scared.

It was almost night and getting dark. Volunteers managed to catch one puppy, the rest hidden in the bushes by the road. So the volunteers came back the next morning.

And unfortunately couldn’t find any more puppies. Volunteers were coming day after day, but puppies disappeared. We can just hope they were rescued by someone else…

BORIS is a bundle of fluffiness, happiness and energy! He loves to play with dogs and humans. But at the same time, he is easy to relax and patient. He will benefit a lot from another dog (female) for the company.

BORIS loves children, but taking into account his size, young age, playfulness and possibly getting too excited during the play, we can recommend older kids, 10+ years old.

BORIS didn’t have a chance to socialise in an urban environment, grown in a farm-type place, so will suit the best to an active family, who loves walks and adventures with fluffy companions, in a quiet and rural location.

According to volunteers, BORIS tolerates cats, just ignoring them. He is a loving and affectionate boy, loyal and highly trainable. Will benefit a lot from continued training, which will be both for him: mental enrichment and learning.

BORIS has no known health issues; neutered, full vaccination pack, microchipped. Will arrive dewormed and C. Brucella tested.

Boton is a 5 month old male Basset Fauve de Bretagne Cross. He is the result of another irresponsible litter. We rescued the mother with her babies when they were one month old in Northern Spain. After fighting against parvovirus only 2 babies survived and Botón is one of them. Poor Boton has had some bad luck in his short life… We thought we had found a lovely home for him, and then without so much as an explanation, the prospective adopters disappeared. So for this reason, Boton is still looking for his forever home, and we really want to make sure this time around, it’s the right one. His brother was recently adopted to the UK, and is doing very well, settling in like an absolute star and loving the company and attention of his new family.
