Daniel – 6 year old male English Cocker Spaniel
Daniel is a 6 year old male English Cocker Spaniel. He is being fostered in Gloucestershire in an adult home with other dogs and visiting grandchildren.
Daniel came into our care after being given up by a breeder – when he was in kennels he was quite poorly and the Vet thought he had an autoimmune problem.
Daniel was given treatment and antibiotics and soon returned to health. When he came to us he was on steroids twice a day this had now been reduced to ½ table once a day – costs for this are minimal if he needed them for the rest of his life.
Daniel is being monitored and back to our Vets this week for another health check and hopefully, everything will be fine so we can get him neutered.
Daniel is a lovely friendly boy – pretty confident for a kennel dog, not your usual ex-breeding dog – he is pretty non-plus about other dogs and loves food and sniffing. He was quite anxious when he first came in and found it hard to settle but now he loves chilling.
Very friendly
Around quite a large pack of dogs
Daniel enjoyed his time over the secure field
Enjoys his walks and sniffs
Nothing negative to add about this lovely boy really – his house training is still a bit hit and miss but this is due to him still being entire which will be sorted out and we know from past dogs this will work pretty quickly once castrated.
Daniell loves his home comforts and is not bothered about dog beds just a blanket on the floor or the sofa or your lap.
Chilling out (there are pads on the floor as his foster home has a very elderly dog)
Lovely boy
Daniel sleeps upstairs at night and a typical Spaniel likes to be touching you.
Daniel has had a bit of a rough ride I should imagine in the past but he has not let it spoil his love of life.
Visiting grandchildren he was happy to say hello.
Daniel will need an experienced home who have had kennel dogs before.
Daniel will be neutered, vaccinated, chipped, and flea/wormed before he leaves our care.
