Basil – 1 year old male Cross-Breed

Basil is a 1 year old male Cross-Breed. He is currently located in Tyne and Wear. This beautiful boy is very affectionate with people he trusts and loves cuddles and strokes, he will be by your side all the time and love your company.

Basil can often be found running around, playing with his toys, playing in the garden and loves digging holes!

Basil needs an adult-only home due to his nervousness around strangers. Basil would prefer a dog-free home.

Basil could live with another submissive dog with the ability to be seperated. He loves to play with the current dogs in his home however can become jealous when sharing his owner. Basil could live with cats with sensible introductions.

Basil accepts a collar, harness and lead and loves his walks, he walks very well on the lead and will stay by your side.

Basil can be nervous about strangers approaching him and will let off a small warning growl however will calm down with reassurance.

Basil will however generally ignore people walking past. Basil can be wary around strangers, especially men and can let them know with a low growling sound although with slow and sensible introductions he will eventually accept them.

Basil will need a female primary carer in his new home. Basil is toilet trained. Basil is crate-trained.

Basil has been left alone for 4 hours a day with no issues. He is also great through the night. Basil is okay in the car for short journeys.

Boton is a 5 month old male Basset Fauve de Bretagne Cross. He is the result of another irresponsible litter. We rescued the mother with her babies when they were one month old in Northern Spain. After fighting against parvovirus only 2 babies survived and Botón is one of them. Poor Boton has had some bad luck in his short life… We thought we had found a lovely home for him, and then without so much as an explanation, the prospective adopters disappeared. So for this reason, Boton is still looking for his forever home, and we really want to make sure this time around, it’s the right one. His brother was recently adopted to the UK, and is doing very well, settling in like an absolute star and loving the company and attention of his new family.
