Santos – 2 year old male Podenco Cross

Santos is a 2 year old male Podenco Cross. He has had an unfortunate start to life after being abandoned in Spain, but Santos was fortunate enough to be reserved by Podenco.

Santos needs and brought to foster care in Scotland where he now resides whilst awaiting his forever home.

Santos brings so much joy to his foster, with his tireless wagging tail and profuse ability to allow his character to sparkle, once he feels safe and trusting.

Santos is a charming and lovable boy. He can be shy at first, and fearful of men due to his past.

Once he knows his female human, he is a sociable, confident, active and playful soul who loves company and simply longs for the opportunity for a forever human.

To live out his youth and leave his past behind him with the person worthy of his utter love and devotion.

Santos radiates warmth and oozes charm, kindness and the innocent fun of a boy stripped of his puppyhood.

Santos is athletic and would love a forever home where he was able to develop and thrive with the care, attention and athleticism that his youth and physique justify.

Santos is a wholesome, outdoorsy female adopter who would suit Santos down to the ground! Santos’ fabulous temperament and love of other dogs, means that we would like to see Santos homed with another friendly dog.

Santos lives with a cat in his foster home, so we know he is great with cats. Santos is still slightly afraid of men, so would love a female to be his primary adopter.

Although he is making great progress with his foster dad but will need male household members to be very gentle, patient and understanding. Or a female-only household.

Santos’ turbulent beginning has left him afraid of busy places, so we are looking for a calm, rural environment for this boy, with adopters willing to visit Santos a few times before adoption, and cannot stress enough what a wonderful dog you will have in return.

Boton is a 5 month old male Basset Fauve de Bretagne Cross. He is the result of another irresponsible litter. We rescued the mother with her babies when they were one month old in Northern Spain. After fighting against parvovirus only 2 babies survived and Botón is one of them. Poor Boton has had some bad luck in his short life… We thought we had found a lovely home for him, and then without so much as an explanation, the prospective adopters disappeared.
