Noodle – 2 year old male Cross-Breed

Image
Noodle is a 2 year old male Cross-Breed. He has a sad story. He was owned by a man who has had him since a puppy then one day just decided he didn’t want him anymore and dropped him at the Kill Shelter. Poor boy! We rescued him and took him to safety. Noodle is so full of life, love and fun! He gets on with dogs and humans alike and is child friendly too. Noodle is a genuine lovely soul. Noodle has full RBU, vaccinated and microchipped, passported and neutered. Get in touch today!

Acorn – 3 year old male Cross-Breed

Image
Acorn is a 3 year old male Cross-Breed. He is fostered in Norwich Norfolk. As you can see from the pics Acorn is quite the looker! This stunningly handsome boy has a cheerful disposition and has been loving the human cuddles on offer since he arrived in his UK foster home. Acorn was rescued from a terrible fate in a public shelter in Romania over a year ago and has been patiently waiting for his turn to come to the UK ever since. Acorn is mixing well with other dogs in his foster home but can be dominant in some situations. Acorn would love to be the only dog lapping up all the attention. Acorn could live with dog-savvy children aged ten plus. When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness

Dina – 8 month old female Cross-Breed

Image
Dina is an 8 month old female Cross-Breed. She is fostered in Norwich Norfolk. She was abandoned at a private shelter in Romania along with her siblings when she was a few weeks old. Dina has recently come to a UK foster home to look for a family of her own. Dina is a super friendly girl who is growing into a lovely-natured dog. Dina is still very much a puppy and will need basic training to gain experience out in the big wide world. Dina mixes well with other dogs but would be equally happy as an only dog once she got used to it. She could live with children respectful children aged seven plus. When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog

Diva – 1-2 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Diva is a 1-2 year old female Cross-Breed. She is our extra special and she has been in our Cyprus Shelter for most of her life, having arrived as an unwanted puppy. Diva is truly extra special: our Shelter Manager waxes lyrical “Diva, in my opinion, is unique. She craves human company and goes weak and turns into mush when she has a cuddle. This is pure ecstasy for Diva”. Her markings are sensationally nice. She walks very nicely on her lead and seems most certainly to mix perfectly well with other dogs, cats and children.

Bonbon – 6 month old male Cross-Breed

Image
Bonbon is a 6 month old male Cross-Breed. He was dumped with his mum and was rescued from the street weeks later. Bonbon is a chunky boy who’s expected to remain a smaller medium size once fully grown (current weight: 15 kg). Bonbon is looking for a dream home where he will be loved with his slightly disproportionate body with so much love packaged inside! Little Bonbon is a nervous guy in nature and he takes a minute to get comfortable with new people but once he comes out of his shell he is an absolute cuddle bug. Bonbon is a very loving, gentle and chilled doggie with the ones he knows. He has lived with several dogs and is friendly with them, but again, a bit shy at first. Bonbon loves cats and can live with felines easily. He walks nicely on the lead but is still nervous about city noises and traffic. Bonbon has attended university classes with his foster mum and slept quietly under the desk the whole time so anyone wanting to take him to work there’s a potential. Bonbon

Arya – 1-2 year old female Shepherd Cross

Image
Arya is a 1-2 year old female Shepherd Cross. This big beautiful girl is currently enjoying her time in a UK foster. But it is time for her to move to a forever home. She is house-trained, walks well on a lead and harness, and is very affectionate once she gets to know you. Arya adores being groomed and has even visited the groomers on occasion. She is also starting doggy daycare for even more socialisation and play. Arya would ideally suit a child-free home, due to her large size and bouncy nature. However, there are visiting children in her current foster home, so older dog-savvy children would be considered. Supervision, as with all dogs is necessary. Being a Shepherd guardian breed, we think someone with some previous experience with larger breeds would be a bonus but not essential, we will support you all the way through. Arya would make a good solo dog or would fit in well with a dog of equal size to her. We also think she would flourish better living in a quieter area

Elliot – 5 month old male Cross-Breed

Image
Elliot is a 5 month old male Cross-Breed. He is expected to grow to around 16 kilos or so. And in the Hereford area. Elliot is currently in a foster home with other dogs and he is better suited to be with a wonderful resident dog. Elliot enjoys his walks and his foster mum is socialising him quite a bit, he travels very well in a car and he can be taken to restaurants and pubs and is very happy to relax and fall asleep under the table. Elliot will benefit from his humans being around most of the day as he can show some anxiety when left and his foster mum is working hard on this to build his confidence. If you are ready for lots of puppy cuddles, have time and love to invest in his continuous training. He is children must be over 5 years old, and a secured garden for his zoomies is also a must

Zephyr – 4 year old male Cross-Breed

Image
Zephyr is a 4 year old male Cross-Breed. He is currently located in Romania. He can travel readily and he is a full rescue backup and support in the U.K. from the meadow of Hope dog rescue. We proudly introduce a true sweetheart to you. He sadly was very badly neglected in his previous life. His fur was dirty and matted and he had been let down. The team took him to safety, groomed him, and loved him and today his beauty shines through. He is waiting now for a family. He would be best suited to a home with another dog.

Bernie – 8 month old male American Bulldog

Image
Bernie is an 8 month old male American Bulldog. He is a gorgeous puppy boy with an adorable loving and good temperament. Bernie is currently located in Hatton, DE12. Available for foster-to-adopt (the trial period before full adoption). Bernie currently lives with a young child and a teenager. Bernie loves kids, but he is a strong boy so kids, who know to respect a dog’s privacy, 8+ would be the best. Bernie is still young and will need training. The previous family that had him as a puppy, unfortunately, didn’t have time for him and he is not socialised with dogs, so is reactive on a lead. But doesn’t react to cats on a walk. Bernie travels well in the car. Bernie was taken by a Foster family as an emergency Foster. And that’s what they say about him: ” He’s settled well with us since arriving last week. Bernie is more unsure of men but since being with us he is more for me than my wife, he is toilet trained and will let you know when he needs to go out by standing at the door

Rosie – 7-8 year old female English Cocker Spaniel

Image
Rosie is a 7-8 year old female English Cocker Spaniel. She is being fostered in Kent in an adult home with other dogs and visiting dogs. Rosie came into our care after being signed over by an animal rescue where she was tied up to their gate, we know nothing about her past. Rosie was in such a state when she came in and so broken – she has had a hard life and suffered a lot of neglect. Rosie has had no experience of this world and everything was terrifying we believe she has been kept in a cage as she has no muscle in her back end and was so weak, and skinny and her teeth are shocking. So broken when her foster mum picked her up Rosie finds life very scary – doors banging, traffic noise, even the wind – her toilet training is still a work in progress but she is getting there, her foster mum has to stay in the garden with her. Going forward Rosie is the sweetest little soul you could meet, she has no malice in her and adores the other dogs, once she trusts you, she is a loving s

Benny – 3 year old male Cross-Breed

Image
Benny is a 3 year old male Cross-Breed. He was pitifully thin on rescue and we were worried about him. He now eats very well and has gained good weight. Benny is an alpha dog and will challenge another male if needs be and stand his ground. Due to this, he is best suited as an only dog or with a female his size. Benny is very loving and affectionate and enjoys cuddles with his carers. He is a very sensible and obedient boy and is a joy to have around. Benny comes with full RBU, is vaccinated and microchipped, is neutered and has a passport. Get in touch today!

Loki – 2 year old male Cross-Breed

Image
Loki is a 2 year old male Cross-Breed. He is patiently waiting for a loving and secure home (foster homes will also be considered). Loki is originally from Bulgaria and was rehomed here in the UK by another rescue. Sadly for Loki things did not work out in his new home as he was becoming anxious around the young children. Loki is a fantastic dog who is full of enthusiasm. He is not yet neutered and therefore is pumped full of testosterone, however, he is booked in to have this done shortly. Loki will need an experienced owner, he is desperate for consistency in a calm environment. It appears as though he has not received much socialisation with other dogs but is so far doing well here. We are unsure at this stage if he could live with cats. We will be looking for an adult-only home for Loki.

Teddy – 1-2 year old male Cross-Breed

Image
Teddy is a 1-2 year old male Cross-Breed. He was found by a kind soul and bought to our vet in a terrible state. Teddy must have been in such pain! His testicles were black, fell of old wounds and death. Unbelievably, with all he has been through, he is still only a baby. Teddy has survived alone on the streets for so long in this state is unthinkable. He recuperated at the clinic for a few days and then was taken to Happy’s.

Thomas – 6-7 year old male Cross-Breed

Image
Thomas is a 6-7 year old male Cross-Breed. He is fostered in Norwich Norfolk. We were asked to take two dogs from a UK pound. Allegedly they had been dumped out of a van and were never claimed. When their time ran out in the pound we took over their care. They were microchipped but this showed they were initially from Romania and their chips had never been registered here. We traced the lady that sent the other dog (we didn’t check his but assume he came from the same lady) from Romania but she had no record of who she’d been sent to only that it was a few years ago. Thomas can be a little hand shy at first but soon makes friends and is an attentive and friendly boy. He could live with another dog but would be ok as an only dog and likes a quiet life. Thomas is still physically fit and enjoys his walks, he pulls on the lead initially but soon settles when the excitement wears off. Thomas could live with respectful children of ten years plus. When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you

Talia is still active and enjoys her walks, she pulls on the lead initially but soon settles when the excitement wears off. Talia could live with children of ten years plus. Bella – 5 year old female Cross-Breed

Image
Bella is a 5 year old female Cross-Breed. She was rescued from the meat trade in china. Bella is about 5 and a very loving little girl who loves cuddles. Bella has lived in a shelter with dogs but never a home. So she will be best suited on her own or with an adopter who is experienced with Frenchies. Bella is not a small child and is not cat tested. The Adoption fee and home check apply.
