Cookie & Biscuit – 7-10 year old female and male Cross-Breeds

Cookie & Biscuit are 7-10 year old female and male Cross-Breeds. They are a bonded mother and son pair who we bought over from Romania many, many moons ago and who have always lived together.

The pair were fostered by a lovely couple down in London and eventually adopted by a very nice older couple.

Sadly both the adopters have recently passed away and they had both been living very happily down in Cornwall with the niece of the original fosterers.

Sadness seems to be following this old pair around as their new owner has recently been diagnosed with a life-changing illness and we need to find them both a new home.

Mummy Cookie is around 10 years old and a very loving little girl who is excellent on the lead and would be perfect for an older owner. She likes to sleep and cuddle her little boy Biscuit. Biscuit is around 7 or 8 years old and again very good on the lead.

They both like children, but are not so keen on cats, although they have both lived with cats in the past with not too much bother. As you can see they are both adorable.

Cookie has an issue with her rear left hip (an injury from Romania) and she has slightly milky eyes now she is terrified of loud noises, especially fireworks.

They are ideally looking for a quiet, adult-only home and absolutely must be rehomed together as they are mummy and son. They are currently living in Helston in Cornwall and will likely be moved up to our base in Scotland between Christmas and New Year if we do not find them a home before then.

Boton – 5 month old male Basset Fauve de Bretagne Cross

Boton is a 5 month old male Basset Fauve de Bretagne Cross. He is the result of another irresponsible litter. We rescued the mother with her babies when they were one month old in Northern Spain. After fighting against parvovirus only 2 babies survived and Botón is one of them. Poor Boton has had some bad luck in his short life… We thought we had found a lovely home for him, and then without so much as an explanation, the prospective adopters disappeared. So for this reason, Boton is still looking for his forever home, and we really want to make sure this time around, it’s the right one. His brother was recently adopted to the UK, and is doing very well, settling in like an absolute star and loving the company and attention of his new family.
