Maya is a 6 year old female Lurcher. She is a lovely, happy girl who is used to living with other dogs and cats.
Phoebe is a 1-2 year old female Shepherd Cross. She sleeps downstairs in a large crate with the door open. Her current owner has been sleeping downstairs with her. She will sometimes wake during the night to make her home aware she needs the toilet. Phoebe wakes up most mornings at 6 am. Phoebe is happy to be groomed/brushed by the female in the home. Phoebe enjoys going out into the garden to sniff around and explore. She goes out on a slip lead with no issues. Phoebe has yet to go for a proper walk due to her building her confidence in the garden first and getting used to the lead. It is encouraged that she should wear a harness but this has yet to be introduced. Positive reward training and allowing Phoebe to explore the harness initially will need to be carried out. She hasn’t been left unattended in the home since arrival so correct training around leaving her for short periods will be vital to prevent anxiety behaviours. Phoebe listens to commands well and will sit for treat...
San Antonio is a fun, pet friendly vacation destination. With the famous River Walk park stretching 15 miles, you’ll love exploring all the neighborhoods and historic sites along the way! San Antonio’s Pet Friendly River Walk Ages ago, when Rod and I first visited the San Antonio, the River Walk was a fun, slightly seedy, tourist destination. Since then, initiatives have extended and beautified this spectacular urban oasis. The original U-shaped section, packed with bars, restaurants, hotels, and crowds, still anchors the River Walk. But now the park stretches runs 15 miles, following the cou...
Florida is know for its beaches — and that’s a double-edged sword. Sure, the surf and sand are spectacular, but they can also be very crowded. If you’re looking for a lovely stretch of coastline with a more tranquil vibe, check out these great dog friendly beaches on the Florida Panhandle! A trip to Florida means time at the beach, and there’s nothing better than finding a shore town that you and your dog can enjoy together. With 825 miles of coastline in the state, you’d think there would be enough for everyone! Unfortunately, many of Florida’s popular beaches feel overcrowded. And another big bunch don’t allow dogs. So where do you go for quiet, dog friendly beaches? We suggest the Florida Panhandle. Specifically, the stretch of coastline from Mexico Beach to St. Marks, affectionately known as “the Forgotten Coast” . In this relatively quiet, undeveloped area of the Florida Panhandle you’ll find laid-back attitudes, friendly locals, gorgeous white sand beaches, Car...
